Everyone already knows, but I’ll add to the symphony of great reviews. Legend has done it again. This 15500 black is stunning. Purchased and modded by legend. Amazing service, communication, and commitment to excellence. I couldn’t imagine a better person to deal with. Do yourself a favor, if you’re on the fence after seeing all these beautiful pieces modded by Legend, just do it. You won’t regret it. I have a ZF 15500 white dial that I loved, but this new one with the black dial looks and feels significantly better with all the things that legend did to the piece. Truly spectacular work.

The specific mods that were done by Legend were as follows:

- Bevel and polish case bracelet edges
- Rebrush watch to gen spec
- Movement service and regulation
- Align and polish bezel screws
- Refinish hands

If for some reason you don't notice the mods, I can tell you with 100% certainty the feel in hand is hugely different. I have friends I see daily with gen royal oaks and, as we all know, reps are not gens, but this one feels as close as I could realistically ever expect without paying 30x the price. The in hand difference between this and the stock ZF is night and day.

This community is very fortunate to have someone as talented and easy to work with. I definitely do not have the watch photography skills as so many others here, yet hopefully these pictures get across how great this piece is!

Did you keep the APSF dial on this, or have it swapped to gen? That dial is really nice looking, if it's the APSF V3 they did a great job....I've got an APSF V3 inbound in blue, anxious to see how it looks in person!

Are the 12:00 markers and logo sticker straight or is it just parallax?

Polishing and/or coating with wg/rhodium can make a real difference on reps these days since its still the weakest part.

Softening the inner bracelet also adds a lot comfort on ROs. I would even love to soften my gens a bit, which I wont. And that is the reason my reps are worn for longer periods of time.

The 41mm suits you well!

It’s just the parallax, in hand it’s straight. It’s a pretty phenomenal piece. The polishing truly makes it so much more comfortable to wear compared to a lot of my other steel pieces both gen and reps.

Having bigger wrists is nice for the current trend of bigger watches.

I’ve been comparing it to a gen blue dial and it feels very similar. I am by no means as eagle eyed as anyone here, but unless specifically told it would be very hard to tell. This is also a stock APSF dial, they’ve come a long way. Granted, it seems black and white/silver are the better dials.

For this price it is really hard to beat. Legend always out does himself, would always recommend working with him!

Amazing piece, seems like the black dial is a no brainer if you wanna avoid the cost of buying a gen dial.
