Are there any relatively new omega seamaster super clones about? I'm only really familiar with InTime's stock and i have the only one i really like from their stock which is the GMT Good Planet. I think they have a Spectre superclone as well which is ok but i'm not really monitoring what VSF or Clean are puting out or the other TD's so any steer would be appreciated.
Cheers
SC

VSF is the way to go with Omegas. You can also check other dealers that we have for more updated stock. Clean does not venture into Omega. Only VSF and ZF does. (I might be missing one more factory I was, also OMF)

Thank you, whats the path of least resistance to getting up to speed on this topic, preferably without trawling through every TD's website listings and inventory status, any shortcuts to be had or other general kick in the right direction?

I remember ORF topping OMF on Quality in the Seamaster Ceramic section - but as you say, VS and ZF are the Omega equivalent to Rolex's Clean and VSF.

Replica oblivion…
As far as I’m aware ZF do not make any superclone Omega movements. Only VS factory does with the PO and AT models.

Omf is mid tier, i bought a omf seamaster chronograph and while the watch was beautiful the dial wasnt ceramic and didnt have that mirror reflection seamaster dials have.

The shortcut is to find the TD you want and just message them with the model and factory you want.

Of the Seamaster 300 (wave dial) I’ve had a few from VSF, lume dots are yellowish and rotor was a little noisy which have all been discussed in the Omega thread. I have an ORF now and find it way better

TDs are more or less the same, as they are essentially middlemen between you and the factory. You’re gonna be fine as long as you choose one among the TD list on the forum. But choose and stick with one who you find agreeable with in overall customer service.

I can’t speak on ORF as I’ve never owned one. Pics look good, but in person analysis trumps photos.

I’ve only owned several VSF models. ZF look great too, and is on my to buy list.

Below is a snapshot of what I’ve own(ed) to help you make a decision:

1. VSF Seamaster Pro 300m 2018 model
(white dial, black bezel) V1
- solid bezel
- solid water resistance otb for pool
- quiet and reliable movement (+5 sec/day)
*now the bad..*
- dial and hands lume markers do indeed have a “yellowish” tint instead of being chalk white like OEM

2. VSF Seamaster Pro 300m 2018
(Blue bezel silver dial) V2
- Solid water resistance otb for pool
- Movement was +/- 0 seconds/day for the first 2 years and then it was +11 seconds/day. Had it serviced back to +/- 0 seconds/day.
*now the bad…*
- bezel has a bit of a backplay
- dial and lume hands also a bit yellowish but not as bad as above. In ambient room lighting, not noticeable. But once charged in the sun and return to room, you start to see the hue.

3. VSF Omega Seamaster NTTD V4
- I’ve owned the V2 and the V4. Problems with the V2 are the same as the V4. Only difference was that the bezel numbers were thinner than the gen, which the V4 does better if not correct.
- real titanium (except the bracelet which is SS)
- solid water resistance otb for shower (didn’t go to pool yet)
- accurate to + 5 seconds/day
- overall really nice and looks a lot like gen
*now the bad…*
- weakest lume I’ve ever owned. They might as well not even lume that watch. I’m photos, it looks good. Super charge with UV light and sprint to a dark room and take a low exposure photo makes it look strong. But in real life, you can barely make out that it even has lume
- speaking of lume, the hands of the watch have a weird “pinkish” tint when charged in the light. It drives me nuts. But in regular room light, no difference from gen
- a little noisy movement. Some kind of rattling. But not as bad as a miyota.

Hope this helps

Additional caveat:
- I’m told that VSF has a shorter, incorrect looking crown guards, but I don’t see it.
- VSF, ZF and ORF have their individual flaws and strong areas. End of the day, it’s a rep for a fraction of the price of a gen. Flaws are expected. That said, I think it’s obvious that ZF has a better looking lume. But VSF is not a bad choice either.
- IDK about ZF and ORF, I wager it’s the same. But the movement of the VSF is an Asian 2824 base with fake decorative plates. Reliable, yes. But it was a little bit annoying for my watchsmith to get through it just to regulate the time.
- the VSF NTTD I’m told has crown tube stripping issues, but I haven’t seen it. I’m not exactly gentle with it either. Maybe Im just lucky and got a better QC/QA.

That said, whichever you buy, I think you’ll be satisfied. For less than 10% of the price of gen, you get a 90%+ looking like gen watch. And should you resell in the M2M section, your losses will be insignificant compared to flipping and reselling the gen.
