People don't post because they are searching, researching and searching some more.

But when people post questions that have already been talked about you're referred to the search button.


Quite a conundrum IMO.

I guess if you just want the forum plastered with banter and BS, I guess that's cool.

i never do that, i always answer their questions the best i can. the search button will give you lots of info and if you don't understand the info you got it was a waist of time. i had that done to me when i was a nubie and i have never forgot it. it aggravates the shit out of me when i see someone do that, it takes just as much effort to bitch at someone about the search button as it does to answer the question and it generally doesn't make you any friends. as a rule this board is much more tolerant of that than some of the others.

banter usually comes along with friendship and having something in common with them and that is a good thing. it makes this place much more fun. [smilie=alien.gif]

if seanf would get that beer soaked midget out of his mouth he could back me up on this. :shock: :lol:

Nono... I see your point 100%. I guess everyone's use/reason for being on the forum differs.

I for one waste too much time on Rep watchs as-is.

I think everyone misses the fact that ever forum has post whores,, some just choose to mix in a little watch talk between honoring themselves frequently.
One thing is guaranteed, they all have different names, and it is no surprise that 85% of those logged on every forum does not post, they have not found the "best sub" yet.

What to do nephew... I guess we continue to greet new ones on a daily basis and play the odds... .that 1 out of every 100 are decent photographers, and 1 of every 1500 know what a 111H is not a metric tool.

I guess things never change...

2.5 years on RWI + 2 years on RWG1 = someone who actually remembers when Klink had under 1K posts ... AND more importantly = about time for same person to quit being a troll and to start giving a little back.....

So last night I finally got around to sending a donation and if all goes well, I'm going to double my post count in about a minute!!

Sorry, i guess i caught this post late. I always wanted to attend the get togethers it's just so far from here. Have there ever been member get-together(s) out here in Asia? It would be great to arrange a group trip to Bangcock, Manila, Singapore or Shenzen etc for the few members that live a bit West.
