My interpretation is that for some people, no rep to gen comparisons are warranted, for now. You can't compare a half-completed rep to a fully launched and appreciated gen. KW may just surprise us and release a rep that fixes all of the issues we see on the pre-production model, or he may not and apart from the parts he says are not finished, those who pre-ordered will get basically the same watch that you see now. But we'll never know until 5/20 comes along and actual watches start to arrive in the customer's hands.
But of course, this is a free forum, you can discuss the flaws that you see. Maybe there's still time to change it or maybe not.
I agree. I was simply trying to point out the preliminary differences between the pictures posted by kW and the gen. I think my post was descriptive in saying things may change and some will change. Those who ignore it are simply ignorant.

These are interesting subjects to bear in mind in the comparison of final KW watch with the gen (please note final KW watch)
I think there are more differences like a thicker golden contour in dot markers, lume a little more green, some flaws in lume application and surely more... But in my previous post I was just trying to talk about the provisional differences seen in the pics in comparison with the current ZFac, trying to see improvements or worsening. Yours are interesting matters for the future review. Thanks a lot for your cooperation.
In relation to CAL. P.9000 inscription on decorated plates I have already given my opinion and explained in the comparison review ZFac vs. KW PAM 505 and in sveral psot here and in other fora.
Since rep movements have inverted layout, the inscriptions can never be the same as gen.
In relation to this matter there are some discussions about inaccuracy of KW versions because the inscription is placed to be read from outside. This placement is not worse than ZFac it is just a different approach to the gen. I have to admit that, after a lot of observations and studies I like more ZFac solution. But that is a taste matter
In Gen CAL P.9000 inscription is placed to be read from the center and inscription finished with P.9000 near the balance wheel.
With an inverted rep layout you cannot get two above mentioned conditions.
Therefore, if you have inscription placed to be read from the center the inscription will start with CAL close to the balance wheel (inaccurate). If you want the inscription finishes with P.9000 close to balance wheel you will need to place the inscription to be read from outside. You cannot keep both conditions
ZFac has just adopted first solution with inaccurate CAL close to the balance wheel
KW has just adopted second solution with inaccurate placement to be read from external side
Therefore IMO it is not completely fair to say KW P.9000 has wrong placement. It has just another kind of approach to the gen.

Here's to hoping that the bezel alignment is just my ol' macbook playing tricks on me... I'd hate to assume that the alignment is off just like the infamous zfac issue.

Although I couldn't wait for this version and purchased the ZF (which I am happy enough with), for those that are being kept on the edge of their seats with this, let's hope that the best does indeed come to those who are waiting. Fingers crossed for you guys

Is it only me or the lume dots should be white(uncharged) but way too green on these photos?
I used to have a Breitling Steelfish V2 which was just perfect but green lume dots were my only biggest concern

QC pics-> QUALITY CONTROL PICTURES
Dealers send QC pics to buyer in order to check that watch and strap are the same as wanted for the buyer and to detect big and evident flaws like scratches, missing screws, parts broken ...
