Why the notch? Why didn't they use the format they used on the 399 crown area? That notch exposes the crown tube and looks bad imo. .

I'm sure the gen has the notch on the case since my 512 has it too. I don't think OP made different specs of 1940 case just for the 532.
EDIT: The notch/indent on the case can be seen. This is gen btw.

Thanks for your comment ALE very wise indeed. Hope members here can get some pics of gen for comparison. Want to see some actual photos of KW 532 as well if anyone here already bought it and expecting it on its way that'll be awesome

..i just hope it is not like "382 KW drama" again... is it like any dealer having access to this watch already? Maybe in few days we will see ZF proposals while there will be still no watch from KW. We will just read soon, that KW needed to correct that missing case / crown notch or something like that - hence 2 months longer wait etc...

CP is too wide.. Just saw Seads pics. That would be the only thing that would bother me

Since the movement is an A 6497-2, CP is most likely a cup covering the real CP
I actually don't know why

Thanks ALE. They should be the same. I'd be surprised if they're different. It's just strange that OP left the crown tube not coated. Maybe to lessen the stress it'll get from unscrewing?
Anyway, looking forward to the qc pics from other dealers.
