Many people with less wrist diameter are wearing 47mm watches without problems.

But you should like HUGE watches to wear it with pleasure and... with comfort

Be carefull becuase of the shape of the case LUMINOR Bettarini wears a lot less than SUBs and 1950 cases !!

Reviving an old, yet still super interesting, post.
Just for kicks, I looked up the PAM 382 from Kurvasit and they offer it in 2 versions with A-7750, and 1 version, $130 cheaper even (!), with ST2555. I'm a bit confused about why the version with the Seagull is cheaper. Not sure I'm allowed to post a link here.

Seagull version is cheaper and as reliable as 7750, if it breaks though it might not be cost-effective to fix it. Seagull version is also low beat movement while 7750 is high beat, this means the seconds hands sweeps smoother in 7750 though it's not very noticeable due to the small seconds subdial.

Pam382 went through several different versions from both kw and zf makers, the version I reviewed here is now outdated. There's a thread with QC pics allowed that should not be too further down the thread list on which you can see the current offering.
