HI, I had kw312 v1 (asian 7750 mov) and recently TD selling new version with seagull ST2555.

I like ver1, but a7750 mov has [minute hand wobbling] problem and that bother me.

My question is anyone has ST2555 version? and want to know this mov is get out of wobbling issue or not.

Thanks in Advance.

Got the PAM359 KW with the ST2555 and it's running fine. :) The wobbling issue was one of those reported with the V1 of the PAM312 (which was the first model to come out with the P9000 decorated movement), and in fact I bought one of the first batch for my boss which encountered a dislodged plate. I don't think there has been an issue with subsequent batches.

I have one with the st2555 and the stem broke within the first two weeks. I live in NY and could find a watch smith that could source any replacement parts and had to send the watch back to my TD for service. The st2555 has a good reputation though, but if you need to service it, it's not easy. The A7750 is not as reliable, but it is easy to get parts for and can be serviced anywhere.

Looking at getting a 312. Are the current A7750's acceptable or should I be asking for the seagull, the crown issue set stated worries me.

A7750 or Seagull, they are both not accurate to gen (although the Seagull's @6 balance wheel location is closer to the gen's @7 location), so if parts availability is more important to you then go with whichever model you can get parts for when necessary. That said, I've only come across set's particular issue, so it may just be an unlucky occurrence.

I have a daft question... Why would the 7750 be more expensive vs the seagull? Is it the reliability factor / level of complication? Seen two 312 but a big diff in price both kW fac

7750 - prepared for chrono complication hence - more expensive (even with chrono elements being removed)

Sounds good. I'll be ordering a 312 with seagull movement from Ken soon

Just ordered the 312 v1 with Asian7750. May be the Seagull mvmt is somehow more accurate, but I prefer the high-beat on Asian7750 the same as the gen.

My focus to start this thread is about "woobling minute hand" issue.
I had some research and found that ST25 is clone based on 2892 (non-chrono fuction) series.
I believe ST25 has no woobling issue.

I just ordered a PAM Sub with Seagul. $100 less and widely known to be more reliable than A7750. It's a no brainer :)

Because the PAMs have only small seconds hands at 9 there is no benefit regarding the beat difference. Its impossible to tell from the Naked eye.

So what's the vote gents? Seagull or A7750?
Bump from a coma ;)

It depends on who you ask. Personally, I am very pro 7750. I do prefer the highbeat and I can tell a difference, if I care to stare long enough. The 2555 is noticeably jumpy at times because of the added pinions and gear to make the second hand run. And from a labor standpoint, the 7750 is easier to work on and fix. The 2555 isnt worth fixing because a new movement is $60.

Thanks Strodda! Those are some valid points! I have an Omega Aqua Terra with a Miyota movement and it suffers from the stutter you speak of. It's annoying at times.
