I posted this question in another forum, but would love to get your (and other users, including the Pam king Ale) views on how this stacks up to the feel on the h fact reps.
I own the noob 111v3 and frankly never got a gen like feel from it, despite it's accuracy. The hfac 005 however feels ridiculously gen like despite its documented flaws.
So what's the take? Is it better in feel than the hfac or equal?
It is really difficult to explain a feeling because it is subjective.
But in general the GEN-like feel of KW is superiror to H maker and to Noob (no doubts).
Usually people think that Noob is more GEN-like than H maker, but you think that H maker is superior.
IMO you are very sensible to the bezel finish, dial and the crystal (which are the first things you see in a watch)
Well, H maker has a bezel with the transition edges sharper than Noob which gives to the watch a more well finish appearance. It is less accurate because the gen is rounded and not sharp, but the appearance is "better" in H maker leaving aside the accuracy. The H maker crystal is very good, after the studies for the current review of PAM 417, Klockis and I have arrived to the conclusion that H maker crystal is better than Noob. Concerning dial, if you like sausage, H maker has very good sausage dials.
Bearing in mind above considerations you could perfectly get a better feeling from the H maker rep.
In this way the KW will seem to you a manificent GEN-like watch, because it has a sharp bezel, very similar to H maker, has an awesome crystal and a perfect finished sausage dial.
