How unique are the SEL 3 letter codes on genuine bracelets?

Seems there can't possibly be enough permutations for it to be completely unique. 36x36x36 (26 letters+10 numbers) is like 46,xxx.


I guess the combination of clasp code + SEL code would be unique (46,xxx ^2)

Changing my noob clasp with an ARF and the then forgetting whether I actually made the change was a nightmare. Thank god for this thread ????

I think we all know that this list is considered to be one of the important tools people use to authenticate their Rolex watches. Could anyone please explain, why the updated list from a few days ago has been edited into an older version?

Is it because the most recent clasp codes are not supposed to be revealed? With all due respect but this is shady as fuck. Why did you delete the new Submariner clasp codes? People get scammed everyday because this list is not up to date.

PJ4 clasp code - TC clasp and blade or gen? I read some of the clasp codes used by reps can also be found in some gen?

Here’s a conundrum for everyone…

I took these pics from a friend’s real Submariner. The clasp codes are VSF no? He swears he hasn’t touched the bracelet since he bought the watch from his AD.
