Keeping the "big" seconds' arrow moving?

Hey, guys!
I want to ask you - is there a problem if I keep the big arrow moving all the time? I really like the way the arrows move on my AP ROO (Chrono and RG/Black bezel) and just wanted to know if there is a possibility to destroy the movement if I just keep them moving?
Thanks in advance

You mean you have the chrono running all the time?

I've never had problems leaving the chronos run when timing things. But why would you like to have it running all the time?

yes - the Chrono.
Well... I like the way the mechanizm moves the arrow. This is the reason :)

I would not do it with a rep, too much pressure on the gears. If it is quartz, then let it run

I am the other way round.

Have never had an issue with the gears (knock-on-wood.... :) ) but the ticking is so much more noticable with the chrono hand on a quartz, so I leave it.

In particular I leave the chrono running on my MBW sec@9 which looks really stupid because the dial @9 is not a secons dial. By letting the chrono run, the running seconds hand is less noticable.
