Hi Guys,

I thought I willstart a thread about the new release of the K-Factory DayDate. Maybe we can discuss here about it.

What I would like to confirm on this release is the number of links, it looks like it has the regular amount of them so the weight is more real than other releases!

From what I could count on some TD websites it has 24 links plus 2 endlinks, that is definitely less than ARF and THB but I guess we would need further confirmation.

Andrew sayd amount of Tungsten is similar to GMF. Would mean, if correct, more links.
More links = less of me buying this watch

Gen is 22 plus 2 endlinks if I'm correct, here I can see 24 plus 2 endlinks which is actually not bad.

EDIT. I correct my post, gen has 24 links plus the 2 endlinks, so it seems to be the correct number!

Does anyone know if this is the 2836-2? My understanding is that is more gen like and the same movement the GMT v5 comes with.

My initial thought from the pics are that the dials look a bit off and the case looks the same as GMF.

Would be good to get some feedback or comparisons from those that have them in hand though

I guess you mean GMF, not GMT, seems a typo
It can be chosen, VR3255 or A2836, as "always.
i prefer winding feeling of VR3255, but when it comes to weight, the 2836 is heavier and you seem to achieve 215g which would be spectacular.

Yeah i hope Andrew can give us some details. I saw you can choose VR over A2836, but i thought there were 2 versions of the A2836 and the later version had similar functionality to gen.

Either way hope we find out more

That sounds great. Would be nice to know how it stands out on other points compared to the current Factories like GMF,QF,ARF, THB and so on...

Would be really nice to get a great DayDate finally.

To add to the confusion, in another thread someone posted that the factories solved the extra links/weight issue by just creating longer links. So in effect, factories are still making longer bracelets, but with fewer links you’re led to believe it’s more gen-like.

Wtf… that is even more fucked up. Is there any way to get gen weight? Do i need to get a custom build from AMF for example?

Thanks. So fuck them, wont buy. It took a long time for me to support CLEAN with buying again after they scammed us with the subs.
We need a caregory like TF (trusted factory)

I think there was a yatchmaster 42 that came plated as well, in the Trustytime pics it has the yellow hue in my opinion.
