I was trying to open the case back on a Gen. Rolex Submariner just to replace the gasket but it was stuck, first try with the plastic ball, then with the Rolex key
but no luck. I spoke on the phone with a very good friend which is a retired watch maker who used to work for Rolex dealer for 20 some years and he just laffed and said use the trick of the ice
and I said how's that, he said just put a piece of ice over the cap for 1 minute and then try again.
So I did it as he said and voilà it opens like it was never been tightened
I am commenting this because more than one will need to use this trick and let me tell you that this works.
