Just Pulled the trigger on a Steinhart

Just curious, Steinhart and DeBaufre are selling similar watch. It seem that you guys are preferring Steinhart.
Is it because it seem more original or is there any other reasons?

I just think Steinhart is a bit more known vs DF but that's just my opinion.

Debaufre is the American arm of Steinhart. He used to sell them here as Steinhart, but was sued and decided to change the name to avoid a long drawn out legal battle over the name.

I think people just like the Steinhart name better, and like dealing directly with Gunter.

Steinhart sounds masculine.... Debaufre sounds feminine.... that's just my humbly opinion though...

go with the Nav B with hand wind ....you can get ist in 44 or 47 mm....go with 47mm

Well I ended up placing the order for a mechanical Nav B.

Gunter said he'd ship Monday, so I should be wearing my new watch by next weekend.

here is my, picked it up a couple of weeks ago when I went to Munich.
had a nice time with Guenter, he showed me his latest designs.

Great value for the money, you cannot do anything wrong.....here you get a GEN for the price of a so called super rep

By the way, the chrono comes now with english day and datewheel.....only the first 100 pieces came with German layout.

tag, were you able to get the diamond crown? and did you go for the german datewheel? both were good ideas i would not have thought of.
