Hello my friends !

I was wondering, as we all know ( ? ), reps are often made by one factory and then sold to our dealers.

I mean, one especific model, like AP Tour Auto, is released and, no matter whose you by from, they will buy the same watch, ok ?

So, why our dealers pictures of the caseback have different serial numbers ?

Am I missing something? Aren't they from the same factory? Different factorys mean different quality ?

They seem the very same to me !

I was a little bit worried, because I got QC pictures from Hont, and mine is number 28

Now I know it will be as great as yours, even without mods.

PS: I still think it is senseless making them with different serials: only 60 possibilities - many will be identical

New Guy Question on Royal Oak

Just joined this month, and have purchased my first rep, it should be at house after a week on the road. I agree this site is a must for anyone who intends to collect Rep watches!!!

I'm a real newbie, so pardon my ignorance.

Looked this particular watch up on an approved Dealer site, and the asking price I found was $ 518.

What makes this watch so special? Is it just the limited edition?

Yeah, the 1st 60 is the A series, 2nd 60 is B series. In 5 yrs, A series will be traded for 3x the price, and panel of RWI experts will provide authentication service for a paltry 1k. And like Lange, the archives will document the servicing, transfers and worldwide path of the exquisite timepiece. Wahahahah
