I watched again the video of this watch @ Puretime and amy have answered my own question about woobly hands. It looked like when changing date via button the subdial hand @ 3 o'clock was jiggling. Am I close?

you are rite mate! it does jiggy abit when you use the quickset date @ 10. however once the watch is tilted, the hand will still move.
