I see them on eBay from time to time. I would suggest searching every 2-3 days until one shows up. By the way, if you find one with a deployent, I will probably be the one that out bids you.

So did you win this one? LOL http://cgi.ebay.com/22mm-Breitling-...3QQihZ008QQcategoryZ10334QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I can't blieve this went over $600. I made one bid on this when it was less than $200. It quickly went out of my range. We may want to converse about any gen straps showing up on E-bay as we'll be running the price up on each other. For some reason I don't think e-bay will be the place to find a bargain.

As soon as I can find some time to set up some lights I'll post pics of my Navi. Go ahead and count me in this snobbish group of fine gents. :D

Nice watches and replies.

But, I know that pam is Davidsen. And where I can find a Two tone, leather band, 12, 9, 6 (serie speciale)?

Thanks a lot

Nope, not a serie speciale. The Serie Speciale refers to a specific model that was in a brushed SS case, 6-9-12 subdials with "Serie Speciale" printed over the 6:00 dial, and "fighters" caseback. The TT navis that you are referring to are actually "Old Navitimers". Polished case, standard caseback on these ones.

Any dealer here will be able to get the watch you are looking for.

well, my pictures certainly aren't as good as you guys but here is my navi and i love it. i am the one that my ad said they couldn't order the strap with out the serial number. they said they had to send the number with the order and once breitling verified the number they would send the strap. the process takes 4 to 6 weeks. this goes for any part you want. when they sell a part they already have in stock they have to list the serial numbers for the watches the parts were sold for. this even goes for new gens that are sold on the net. if an ad didn't sell the watch new they will not recognize it as one of theirs.

i am also looking for a gen blue buffalo strap with tang buckel if any body know where i can get one plese pm me.

That is INSANE!!! there is no way I would pay that for a strap. I could buy an genuine Oris diver for that kind of bank. I haven't been looking for one lately because I don't have the cash right now (I needed a new laptop).

I just ordered a TT black with stick markers, based on some of the beautiful Navitimer photos I've seen as well as By-Tor's wonderful review, so I'll be a Navitimer Club member as soon as it arrives!

This is my black navi :

http://www.replic.as/review-breitling-navitimer-by-pirvan-vt14.html

(I made a review of it, it's in spanish)

In the first photos you can see it with the replica black strap, then I buy the original black leather strap and the original deployment (100 EUR the strap in a jewelry and 130 EUR the deployment on ebay)

Then I bought the original bakelite box on ebay too (70 EUR). Then Breitling Spain send me the original instructions and more papers of them jeje

you can see photos of all of that items on the link (click on the links!)

I can't be part of the club yet...but will shortly be!

Noobie Q: can you please explain me why none of the Breitling reps so far are proposed with a swiss movement (only asian)?
...and does it really matter anyway?

Thanks,
Manu

Thanks for the info. I was wondering whether it would be possible to get a genuine strap from an AD - I'm not about to walk into a dealer wearing a rep on my wrist, so I'd need to be able to order a strap without having to quote a serial number. How often do gen straps come up on ebay, and how do I know it's a genuine gen and not a replica?

I bought mine original strap from an official distributor here in Spain and they didn't ask me about my breit or my serial number ;) don't worry about that.

You have 2 kind of breits strap: for deployment buckle and for classic buckle. They are DIFFERENT! the deployment one haven't got holes!! both of them cost 100 EUR in Europe, I think that it cost 100 $ around the world.

Then you have two buckles: "normal" buckle cost 20 EUR and deployment buckle 180 EUR (official breitling prices).

If you will buy them, try on ebay. I bought my gen deployment at 130 EUR shipping include to Spain ;) and I have see gen straps at 60 EUR + shippment. But see first if they are for deplyment or for buckle!

If you want the original instructions and other papers: send to breitling one email wondering them (because your dog eat them, you lost them etc..). They will ask you about the serial number of your watch...then search on Ebay for "bretling navitimer" and in a good auction, with a lot of pics...see the serial number of that navitimer. Send that serial in other mail and...they will send you the instructions ;)

Yep, in my opinion this is the ONLY perfect Navitimer rep. I surely would have dubbed this one "Watch of the Year", but I consider it to be more of a custom made rep or "Frankenwatch" than a mass produced rep.

Oooh man, you guys just might make me join the club soon enough.

Never been a huge Breitling fan (for the same reason as PAM, I've got like a 6 1/2" wrist) but these are too classy looking to keep passing by.

Of the widely available Navitimer reps, who would you guys say has the closest in maybe a white face?

A week ago I couldn't say this, but now...sign me up! This may not be the brushed version, but that is a Swiss ETA 7750 swinging in there. Man I love this watch. Great idea on the thread Andreww.
