I almost “stole” this watch on December 3, 2024 from fellow RWI member @watchfarma in Australia who has such a gigantic collection that he had NEVER worn it. In fact the watch still was in plastic when I received it:
I wore the watch exactly 3 times when going out to dinner. Since I have a gigantic wrist circumference, I have NEVER worn any of the 4 straps that are included in the sale, which are:
1 JLC black alligator strap in 110/70
1 JLC brown alligator strap in 110/70
1 vintage brown leather strap in 115/70
1 black sail cloth leather strap in 115/70.
The “Grande Taille” Reverso measures 46 x 27 Millimeters with a lug size of 20mm. This watch is in “as new” condition as it gets, without a single mark on it. The ONLY reason I’m selling it, is because I have 4 small square watches, as shown in image # 3, plus a Heuer Monaco and a Cartier Santos, so based on my one-in, one-out policy, this Reverso is up for grabs.
Since I almost stole this watch, I can only sell it for what I paid, which is about the price of a dinner these days, so trust me when I say that this amount won’t change my lifestyle a bit. I just need to make space in my watch box.
