My case is brushed exactly the same way the gen is and polished on the edges like the gen.
The first links on the clasp are metal half coated in rubber. The links that are removable have threaded steel, not sure if the whole link is steel and coated but I would figure they would be solid steel if the links are threaded steel. The upper links I'm not sure about, these might be the plastic ones?!?
The crown is a very hard plastic too. It doesn't scratch very easily.
Just my observation from tearing into it this weekend.
