Here is a quick review of my recent purchase, a JLC Master Geographic.

Pros:
Dial looks great, but in dimmer light is clearly silver rather than white.
Hands and hour markers have a little lume I didnt expect from a dress watch.
PR works.
Crown at 10 lets you select a city/time zone.

Cons:
Movement rattles very loudly
Strap is a rep strap.
2nd time zone's minute hand does not match main minute hand.
Selecting a time zone does nothing except change the city that is displayed.

Summary: Nice looking on the surface, but not what I was hoping for. I want some quality JLC reps to begin appearing. When I saw this I thought this was the beginning, but it hasnt started yet.

It looks tempting.

From what you say it sounds like you can only set the hour hand on the second time dial. Might be worth it sending it back to get it sorted then.

As to areas, do they stay where you set them? On my Worldtimer they do not and it is really an irritant.

I did notice that if you wind backwards, the hour hand on the 2nd time zone dial doesnt move back with the main hour hand. You could hack your way to the time zone you want that way. The seconds hand though will either be a watchmaker fix or just remain messed up.
