You are right, good eye you have there But only those who owned the gen or studied or put in under microscope could spot them lol. Maybe the non-textured version dial will be a better alternative...

This is true, seeing all these watches in magnified photos you forget how small all the details really are in person.

That dial error would be super obvious if you’ve seen the Gen before. Hopefully it will be updated soon

I don't think it's a big problem IRL. I can't imagine running into another owner of this watch..who would happen to have his loupe ready to scrutinize my dial texture..Nitpickers we are..

Repworld Any news JJF will update the movement? I told an informant from JJF a few months back to consider using 2892 instead of 9015 to make it perfect. But I am not sure if this suggestion will be accepted... A2892 sure is more expensive but far better than 9015/

Any TD, you will need buckle st well.

the triangles on the gen dial are in a diagonal pattern while the on the rep they are in a straight pattern
the dial cross is not as thin as the rep
the myiota rotor is noisy

So if your local bar is populated by watch experts with highly specialised knowledge of VC dials a x10 loupe and super hearing, leave the watch at home. otherwise you are good to go.
