JFK 1680 submariner

I’ve just order a vintage watch from Mr.
the beauty I want is a 1680 red line submariner.

The payments was sent last week by WU and he wrote to me an email on 3 sep with confirmation.
Told me that will send QC pics but till now not yet.

I’ll update here when he replied to me!

Hope will do ASAP.

Waiting is killing me...!

Hi Folks.
today my rolex has arrived!

it's very nice. amazing. i really love it.
MR use DHL directly and it was very very fast!
Dial it's really well made.

i am not happy about bracelet.
it was difficult to remove a few links from the bracelet. I put it in a glass full of WD40 and after 4 hours was more easy.
Now it's ok and I am wearing it very happy.

Great to know MR stocks these - I received my first rep from him in under 10 days start to finish! Soon as I complete my 116234 dj franken I will start a vintage 1680 - if you have any more pics or feedback let me know - looking forward to re luming/aging the bezel etc hope you’re enjoying it! I wanna be honest! The watch it’s still the same as I received!
I didn’t aged it cause I like it how is right now.
I saw lots of 1680 in aged version and and I didn't like them very much.

I'm waiting to find something better and I'm open to suggestions from everyone. I thought that the more I wear it, the older it gets!

I bought also items to open it, to remove hands and dial, but for now I didn’t have to much courage to do it and aging it fast.

There’s quite a few threads on aging the insert, most people seem to use a combination of bleach and or sanding, to get the desired effect.
