JF 16610LV minor mods: questions

Bit of a preview of the parts I’ve gathered so far! Just waiting on the VR3135 and genuine rotating bezel. Tripdog is working his magic on the base JF right now too with cutting chamfers into the lugs and rebrushing the watch.

• Gen Kermit insert, new
• Gen 704 monoblock crown (going for a RSC serviced build, and this honestly just made more sense personally because it’s a higher quality part than the plated crown)
• 24-7030-0 tube and gaskets, blistered
• Gen b25-295-car-c1 crystal, blistered
• Gen 16610lv maxi superluminova handset, NOS
• 3135-16200 datewheel, new
• Gen 16610 retaining ring
• Gen b317-16800 click spring

Once I have the watch back and the complete genuine bezel assembly, I’ll try my hand at replacing the bezel and crystal myself. Have watched a ton of YouTube videos and read endless threads here so it doesn’t seem too complicated.

In the meanwhile.. I’m also building up a light franken 116233 with an ARF I have lying around to get some practice in. Will post about that when I get the parts and tools in. Patience is a virtue!
