Definitely not a v3, but posting here asking for some help on an 15400 order (meant to be a rep of the black ghost mod).

There are some obvious flaws re logo / non-matte dial which don't concern me. However could someone tell me if the 6 o'clock and 9 oclock markers look crooked to them?

Thank you all!

Sorry mate - thanks for offering to help! For some reason I can see it on desktop (including in your quote) but not on mobile. Any thoughts why this might be the case? In any case here's an imgur album https://imgur.com/a/dw7FdkY

no problem. maybe a problem with my safari browser.

marker at 9 looks crooked, yes.

not too obvious (keep in mind that it is a so called "cheapie") on your separate thread i read that you already rejected it - so i hope the second one wouldn't be worse haha

for my personal taste there are other things than the slightly crooked markers that would bother me more...

jakekrait - im not quite sure... all material that is removed is on the unseen inside toward the movement/ mid case.

If i remember right the scammer locolouis back then had a RG version thinned too.

I assume it is possible - maybe ask slaughterer62 he is the man for high end moddings - he is the luxurious way to go if you want the best when it comes to AP reps IMHO ;)

Anyone knows where I can get a good replica box for my 15400 from Europe? And I'm not sure there seem to be doffdiffe models...

Any way to smooth out the sharp edges on the bracket and clasp?

I can‘t stop looking at the slightly crooked AP-logo on my white V3 :(
Is it possible to realign it without damaging the logo or the dial?
Any modders in this forum who can do this? Or maybe better ask a watch smith?
Thanks for your help guys!

I have the same problem with my white V2. After awhile I just quit looking at the flaw. I have read somewhere some of the gens have this flaw as well.

So just got my V3 White Dial and it looks absolutely fantastic. Really a top end rep. Just wondering the best way to resize the clasp? I have the right screwdrivers, but is it as easy as unscrewing the second from last links and removing one from each side?

That‘s exactly what I did.
But my wrist size doesn‘t seem to be perfect for this watch.
Removing 2 links is okay but it moves a lot on my wrist.
Removing 3 links it is too tight and not comfortable anymore.
Here I have to say nothing beats Rolex Subs and their glide lock where you can adjust it perfectly to any wrist size.
