JF 15400,the "new" batch.

JF is pretty good as it is. My biggest complaint is minute markers.

Not just minute marker, event the Audemars Piguet, AUTOMATIC, and Swiss Made white is too light and flimsy. The gen is solid. JF needs to improve on the printing.

But I have a bad feeling this is least of his concerns, since the factory's direction is focusing on Rolex reps where the big money is.

Well its simple. JF owner buys gen and get his team to rep the hell out of it within a few days. After all the R&D he simply pieces it together and keep it as his own. Im sure repping 1 watch will pay of 1 gen significantly. Other than that he can always sell it back to his friends or in the market, im sure 15400 boutique edition is quite demanded. Saw one at a AD reseller recently asking for 15.2k no discount. Was gone within a week.

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. gen watch during process of replication gets some major beating or is even destroyed.

How do you know? Source? I believe they would have deconstructed it and study, scan, replicate, produce sample. Dont think they would discard gen parts.

If you knew how much money they make off doing a 1:1 of a gen lol.. We're talking millions. JF can buy 10 gens to make the best version and still come out with a huge profit margin. Just look at the latest 5-digit sub JF produced. It was said they ordered 20k cases. Now let's assume their profit margin from the factory is $50 (at least), that's $1million already. Just from that one Submariner model.

I think asia is a huge market for anything that's flashy. If you look here on the board, it's a very small number of people that would ever wear anything brightly-coloured or with diamonds because it would call too much attention on the watch (which would be fake) and I think we're a bit more conservative in that sense.

You are right, it works more in emerging economies where people believe that possessions showcase their wealth and status in society.

Guys i need your advice!!!
I want to buy the two tone white dial, but i'm afraid about the gold plated pieces.
Or the normal 15400 with white dial. Is the V2 realy beter? Or do i must wait on the v3? So somebody knows how long the release will take?

I dont think diver sales are slow, they are in high demand 24/7. JF bought the colour diver to expand the range since its so sellable. Even the V7 was not in stock recently and many members were looking for one in M2M.
