Does anyone think the "AUDEMARS PIGUET" logo would be a tell on JF dial? Gen is longer which extend to the end of both side of the plate.

Look closely mate. It goes almost to the edge of the rectangle.
Also, font on gen is thicker and G is different but that was already discussed on this forum.

Those things are so small when you look at the watch, you really need to squint your eye to notice.

I mean if anyone is noticing that on your wrist then idk what to tell you haha. On the wrist and on pictures that aren't blown up 100x the watch can easily pass as gen.

Mate the rep dial & the logo is not bad at all I am planning to source parts for 15400 . But TBH the rep dial is not bad at all . It's a pretty well work done by JF ofcoure if they make the markers more crisp Would be a very well made rep as a V7 diver .

The white dial on the JF RG looks quite close to the gen. the gen RG white dial comes with two dial options , Matt and the other one has white silver effect exactly like the JF.

Haha I know JF did a great job on the 15400, but just to point out some minor things that can be fixed in the version and the markers as well of course. However, I actually can't wait and got one myself a black dial, and it should be arrived tomorrow. Excited!

Did AP ever released SS 15400 on leather strap? I've been to a few AP stores and Ive never seen one only different 1540 RG on leather strap.

JF rose gold shade is totally off.

If you only keep the JF RG next to gen rose gold . Otherwise it can't be called out. I had tried a RG 1500 Boutiue blue there is not much Color difference . At the watch Boutiue & other high end luxury designer showrooms & usually in the hotels they have 12V 50 W halogen lighting which make the rose gold looks darker. If you see the watch under white light or day light the rose Color looks lighter. Always remember To make rose gold copper is mixed to give a darker shade

I'm at AP store once a month and I've never seen gen RG 15400 that looked similar to RG 15400 made by JF.
Gen in more yellow than JF RG - JF 15400 RG it's way too bronze. It's not even close to gen.
