Hi guys

Congratulations for choosing the 15400, is a very nice watch. I own a JF v1 and is almost perfect, the only thing that bothers me is the colour of the minutes markers and the SWISS MADE.

This is way to faded compared with the genuine version and is the easiest tell in a picture:

Did anyone managed to mod the dial? Especially the markers? Or anyone managed to upgrade it with a genuine dial?

Remove the bezel, lean it against a block of some sort to ensure it's straight, start sanding in one direction for 10 times or so. 240 grid is what the Official AP sanding grid.

Does anyone have the 15400 on a leather strap?

I'm receiving the leather strap this week hopefully. The only thing I'm worried about is the lug screws. So far, I've removed the ss bracelet once for an oil bath and damaged one of the screws quit a bit in the process. I'm afraid it will break next time. Any good advice? Anyone knows where to get a set of new lug screws?

The gen does indeed have "better" printed markers, closeup you can tell the difference like in the macro pics, but on wrist its impossible to see. JF should be able to improve it on next version, TF version has better printed markers but the rest is worse. I Think it's not noticable when worn because the Watch is quite blingy so the reflections will distract you.

I Think a mod will be hard since its printed on the Squares, it will be very difficult (or at least timeconsuming) to try to mod it.

SS AP reps or gens will always scratch. all you can do is not bang your watch against things.
