Quite unsure about if this is the v2, would greatly appriciate anyone with knowledge (yes I know the marker @3 is crooked)

I just got the QC and got it approved
Got it from Chazing, so far so good, it's my first time buying from him and I can tell it has been a very good experience so far.

I had all three colours from JF, first I thought white would be the best. It looks stunning, indeed, the blue one is pretty nice, too.... but the black one just looks perfect. While white and blue are pretty easy to call out becasue of the sunburst-effect that shows the smaller pattern than gen pretty good. The black one is hard to call out and in my opinion just looks very elegant, masculin, not too shiny and "loud", the perfect man´s watch. Thats why i kept it and sold off the other two

Black dials are also generally more versatile. They can be worn with a black suit, chinos, or jeans.

I really appreciate your comments especially since you've owned all 3. I had the white one which I just sold. Currently, I own the black JF. I've been really wanting the blue dial. Now your comments are really making me rethink that blue dial search. So the blue dial is that easy to call out? Thanks, R.

Well, there are many beautiful pics of the blue in the forum which made me desperately want it. When it arrived I didn't even unfoil it. It looked kinda cheap and not comparable with white or black. I was pretty disappointed to be honest. But this is just my opinion. I'd go with black. Sometimes less is way more. Especially when it's about to copy and AP with a very special bluish glimmer.

My personal favourite is the silver/white dial. Both for Gen and rep after trying the Gens at an AD.
The silver isn't that easy to call out either, unless it's by someone from this forum, who would then first of all spot the date font error

At first I wanted the blue, I'm always on the look out for blue dial or bezel watches. Then I thought about the black, but honestly I have so many black dial and/or bezel watches, plus the Diver is on my wrist list. Ultimately I decided on white/silver. It's unique and not like any of the other watches in my colllection. I think it looks great, and I made the right choice. Here my JF V2
In my opinion silver is easy to call out because of fading looking markings against silver dial.
I think markings look sharper against black dial.
I may get silver 15400 but I think I will retouch markings.
I agree with rcom above, the white can make the hour markers look bad. in my opinion the blue v2 should be pretty hard to be called out on, very few people have seen a blue 15400 much less chance also to meet someone with a gen. but the white dial is very nice otherwise with the pearly sheen
I'm not sure I agree. I've owned black, blue and white. Based on my personal experience, I think the White minute ticks/markers and "Swiss made" txt, on black and blue dial look the most "shaky"
Overall I still prefer black (despite shaky Swiss made text and part missing minute ticks).
White looks too feminine.
Blue looks good in pictures but in real life it looks too gimmicky for my taste.

I agree.
V2 is more gen like but my opinion is that blue looks too gimmicky (even the gen). White looks too feminine (even the gen) and that black looks the most classy (IMO).

I don't like black and steel on rolex Submariner it looks indeed good but on an AP i like the blue far more, dont know why but its my Taste

Blue 15400 is not listed even on AP official website, its hardly found in boutiques (at least my experience), so the thing I would consider is build quality which is extremely high in V2 by JF. If one likes blue I would advise not to be mislead by the possibility being called out. Just my 2c
