My father and I are both ex Roulette dealers (he dealt French Roulette, I dealt American Roulette but with the French wheel) and this watch has the French wheel with the sectors, so I think he'd love one. Either the printing on the Voisins du Zéro is terrible (all the way around to the Tiers) or there's an insert under the wheel segments that's off. Any new pictures around?

I can confirm this piece exists, more and more pictures are trickling in outside of promotional photos. Price requoted from $400 to $450. But still not bad.

I am still curious what kind of movement and mechanism they have done to do this. I mean, readjusting a stock movement to have some kind of release of power from the mainspring, as well as shifting the keyless works to the back to have a different way to set the time... it must have some extensive modification, which makes me worried about how well this thing will hold up, especially because if I get one, I know I'll be abusing the wheel every day, maybe even every couple of hours. LOL
Have we learned anymore about production? I’ve been looking to get one of these but everything is fake AliExpress type stuff that pops up.

I was looking at the following as an alternative... but $1k is a LOT.

That wheel is just.... weird.

Why color all the numbers like the zero but put the red/black on another track?

Not sure. Green on a zero is correct but the green around all the numbers I don't agree with.
Obvs.

It's just odd. The French wheel layout is correct though.

Would I get one? If it was half the price, maybe. Just because I'm an ex French Roulette dealer. Well, French wheel but American chips.

I am tempted by the utter ridiculousness of the concept. My ADHD is shouting about it.

Like the Chaykin Joker but on massive quantifies of equine steroids - to buy one and wear it somewhere where people I know won’t see me would be not more than a case of strange and awkward amusement.

“Do you play roulette?”

“Not this decade, no”

“Why are you wearing a roulette wheel then?”

“Thought it looked utterly insane as a timepiece, an abomination even, still do, but watch this” - spins the wheel - “how cool was that?”

“Not very”

“… yeah agreed”

A lot of effort, not much payoff. Like riding on the freeway on a skateboard so you can show off the propellor on your multicoloured had spinning at pace.

Yes I'm piling on here too. For some reason I can't explain I want to buy one immediately. Not the crappy pingu one though.
The wahstapp videos are offline.

Eeheh, great post @xray7 !

It must be noticed that Jacob & Co, was NOT the first maison with this kind of roulette complication, this is my FM Vegas, it was originally released in 1990
