The Camaro looks like it has a Type LT emblem on the roof side panel...hard to sell from a screen shot...Def not a 74 Z/28 tough..and not a 77 Z....didnt make a Z in 75 or 76.

Sadly, Jack Reacher in the novels is 6'6".

Never pictured a hobbit to be playing that role in the movie.

I concur, tommy cruise as jack reacher is way off what lee childs personified in the series. It makes more sense to cast someone else. Taller and in better shape, hollywood is running low on action heroes I guess...

They are probably trying to link to his popularity in the Mission Impossible movies. I refuse to watch any Tom Cruise movie after he went freaky about the time he broke up with Nicole Kidman. The previews for this movie look entertaining, but I agree that is it hard picturing Tom Cruise as a bad a$$. Too bad this was not a Jason Statham or Dwayne Johnson movie.

I would even (excuse for me implying this) take vin diesel as reacher only because he is supposed to be bald and built up. Tom can stick to jerry mcguire type cinema, never really was a solid action hero imho.

As a big fan of the books, my expectations are very low for the movie.

No shortage of action heroes, none that can act. Granted, I do like Jason Statham. Maybe Brian Johnson.
I grew up watching Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Lee Marvin, James Caan, Charles Bronson, Lee Van Cleef, Harvey Keitel, Sam Elliot.

Now we get Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Matt Damon, etc.

Cruise is a huge.draw and and big money, safe bet it'll be a decent film. Kind of a flake he's still a good actor.

Aside of the fact that Reacher is 6'6", the movie was not too bad. I personally enjoyed it. I as saw a few nice time pieces in it too, I spotted an Omega chrono and a gold IWC (as a gift, no less). I wish I was that lucky.
