Gen pics - SS black Sub (non-ceramic)

Please excuse the poor quality of the picture (taken by my brother) of a colleague's genuine sub. It seems to confirm what I've seen in several other gens at dealers - there are imperfections in gens too. The pearl isn't particularly well centred, and doesn't the rehaut look a bit wokky? Anyone have any other thoughts? Hard to tell from the bad photos I know. On the other hand the AR on the cyclops is quite noticeable.

Yeah, it does not surprise me. GEN Rolex(s) are handmade in mass, by humans, and therefore subject to slight imperfections - unless they have somehow figured out how to hire all the ~perfect~ humans.

I really do not think that is a Gen the pearl is not only off center but it is to large. I can see maybe the factory making a mistake putting the pearl off center but the pearl would not be to big the pearl should not touch any corners and have the same room on each side and a little more on top.

Plus the 10 is a mess!

I'm interested in the fact that some people think it's not gen. I'll try and get my brother to take better pictures, but it's hard to say to someone "can I borrow your watch?" - "sure, how come?", "erm, so I can take macro pictures, because I think it's a fake".

You have it so wrong.....why are you comparing the pearl on a 16610 to a DSSD pearl ? that is a gen sub, period.
