Don't think so. I believe they incorporate the function of the top bridge of the movement into the decoration plate hence no added thickness. Just my thought. I can be wrong.

Plat GP is coming out in a week or two with decorative plates. Decorative plates are not housing the jewels for the gears, sorry. But not much added thickness. An added PITA though for people who service these movements. (More screws to be removed, more possibilities for failure). Wish they had really cloned the 3120, but we are not living in heaven. Get ready for the hype and the Angus pre-order.

Dial color is not bad, but the centre dial insert does not look anodised. Faux screws on the plates look pretty low quality: need replacing. Why not a faux rotor assembly too? Strange. And the crown definitely needs to be capped. Looks good otherwise. Nice Ti screws. Real FC. Ok, get the wallets out gentlemen.

I think they made a safe decision by showing the platinum first , just to get you ready for the wrong dial of full FC version .....
