We are watch-addicts, WIS, watchnuts, watchaholics or whatever you might call us. We know our stuff and we are deeply interested in the overall product as well as in the smaller details ... we are a minority and our demand is minor.

The factory is money driven, cost efficient, budget-true and profit-targeting. They know how to make money, they don´t care to much for the product they produce and sell, it´s a watch ... thats it! ... they have the supply and they will sell.

Have we ever asked ourself "why are there so many cheap, shitty and fantasy reps on the market?" Most of the rep-buyers don´t care about accuracy or close-to-gen arguments ... they buy a name they heard (like Breitling, Rolex, TAG). The market is there, the demand is high, the supply will always be higher.

Anyway, I would love to see these GP´s come out with improved dials, especially the FC version with the metallic red. Hope springs eternal

I have seen the Gen many times. It should have a mirror like adonised finish. This is very hard to capture on photo. As the mirror like finish will reflect light so photo will be affected by the light thrown on it. Probably a video will help us to decide.The adonised red is something similar to your red aluminium Coke can as a refence. I am happy with mine dials , just waiting to swith the tachy...

the gen red is not as seen in any pictures or video needs to been seen in real life in hand ... then only will you know what the colour and finish should look like !! not point look at the pictures at all .. ive not seen 1 picture to date which represents how the gen looks like in real life .. just waste time comments .. unless rep in hand to compare !!! that also includes the tachy .. which is very crucial to pulling of the gp to gen close !!

Come to think of it, there are so many complaints on the past releases of Bumble Bee, Old Navy, Panda etc but at the end of the day V2 is no where in sight.

I guess we may just have to end up living with the flaws or waiting years before an update or another factory tries to beat the version..

It should be obvious. The red and the subdial@12 are already fails. I'm not hoping the factory to do a 100% gen-like color but at least they should be able to do a dark red metallic like this. This could be done by combo of spray cans (without the glossiness).

The question is whether the J12 GPs will be better than the best efforts at full modification of Noob GPs: with Imacknockov FC parts, Mikey Ti hardware, anodized dial inserts, re-sandblasted parts, etc. In any case, the J12 will provide a cheaper and less time-consuming entry into GP franchise.

I really don't understand why they keep messing up the reds and blues on these models, Jamzito is correct in his assessment of the red: all that's needed is to overcoat the nickel-plated centre section with clear gloss red or simply have it anodized and it's done. Not a photographic issue whatsoever.

jam .. whats your ...your verdict ?? it more then just nickel plating and red clear coat .. i was also under the impression that all that was needed !! how wrong was i after handling the gen several times !!

I think this can actually become more popular than the schumi if they do everything correctly. I will def order one. I love forged carbon! My V4 Noob FC diver is the first watch I wear while sleeping as you hardly feel that you are wearing a watch. And due to the FC case I am a lot less worried to accidentally scratch the case while sleeping.

Correct dial + clone movement plating + good price = WINNER!

Level. I can't get the mirror finish base. Without expensive
Outlays on individual basis.
