I've found the best way to wait for the next release just to leave the forum and the hobby for some months, the waiting is so easily overcome. Last week decided to take a look at the fora and what i see the gp's are now out :) Now the hardest part.... which one to take :D So good for my budget i can't pull off the RG one so i will go for FC and platinum along with my all time favorite schumi that i should re-buy asap. Waiting for some real life photos and will pull the trigger. Meanwhile if someone in EU takes ANY of the GP's and decide to C&R pls PM me i will take it :D

I am curious; why so much favouritism for intime here on rwi? I remember he was chosen dealer of the year last year... but why them?

Ryan at Intime, he's brilliant, I won't use another TD!

Haha i hear you mate. only heard good things about him... but Angus and his team treats me pretty nice. Sometimes not quick about it but otherwise never disappointed me. Nor even once for the past 3 years. I don't know what they do during their QC but none of my watches I ordered from PT died on me. Maybe just a good karma ;-)

Anyhow, the RG GP looks too nice to pass up even if I don't like gold. I might actually see your wristie and place an order then.

Can only speak for myself, but Ryan's customer service is the best I've experienced for a TD.
He's quick in preparing QC Pics, no request is too much and his prices are normally the best you can get.. for example he sells the FC GP $30 less than Pure Time..
Shipping is cheaper..
Unless he balls up (which I doubt he will) I won't use another TD for the foreseeable future!

I think it's quite obvious... good comm, good manner, honest, and quick.

What else? ;-)

But, never used him myself Lol

J12 AP ROO Grand Prix - Platinum, Forged Carbon & RG

Ryan and Angus are great TDs and excellent service, but my loyalty is to Ken... Lightning fast response time, super quick QC, and the QC guy really knows how to pick the best APs in my opinion. Plus I don't think he sleeps lol

I was more out to get the FC GP and maybe get the RG GP as well, but now I will just pass of the FC and only go for a RG.... unless somebody starts selling highly modded JF GP's. For the time being only AP GP RG. And I hope that JF comes out quickly with a Rolex Yacht Master Everose RG on rubberstrap cuz I want to order this watch at the same time

Good call on passing up on Fc and going for the RG.

But I need all three! LOL

RG GP is more accurate than RG Schumi, yes?

Yes, it appears so. RG Schumi has darker dial but RGGP has correct black dial.

Of course we need to have someone to verify it but at the moment, according to photos and video's put out by TD, it looks pretty good! ;-)

@thedonsiI agree about Ken! Love Ryan as well but Ken is my go to guy. I have yet to even question QC.

I reckon Schumi is still better.
Especially re the lower bezel (glossy sections etc)

I'm deciding between RG schumi and RG GP as well.. What do you guys think?
Personally, I'd go with RGGP. Schumi is of course very very nice but you've got to get on with the hype!! Lol

But if you are planning to wear it quite frequently, I think Schumi would be a better choice as it has Cermat bazel, which is basically scratch resistant. GPs on the other hand has FC bazel which would be (arguably) somewhat weak against any significant impact.

+1 to that!

From what I have seen the Platinum is the best of the bunch. Full case engravings and colour being very close(only real issue is the crown logo)
