The QC pics don't quite show the brushed top of the rotor. This pic may help.

It's definitely brushed.

I think you would have to buy the additional straps (endlinks+buckle+whatever) from the TD. They will be the best parties to tell you what they will or will not do for you.

PT is taking forever to respond [emoji26][emoji26] I want to buy it from Ryan but the 18% off is too good to pass on.

Hi guys, I'm relatively new to the forum & am keen to purchase my first AP 15400 rep. I've purchased from PT in the past (Tag), and would like to use Ryan for this purchase.

I've done a heap of reading, but was hoping you could advise which maker of the 15400 is closest to the gen? The 4 different ones displayed on inTime are BP Maker, V6F, JF & Miyota.

Based on my research, am I correct that Miyota is the closest to the gen? Appreciate your help!

The J12/JF is the best one at the moment with Miyota movement.

To bracelet or not to? I'm torn on whether to get leather or metal. I like the look of the leather straps but I'm scared that I might miss out on the AP bracelets

They are working on a new batch.
Any info about what improvements on the new batch?

I accept my QC but still waiting for the second watch. Maybe i can ask my TD to give me the latest batch.
Cheers!

IMO the bracelet for sure! To me the 15400 looks better on the bracelet.

They are not making improvements on the next batch. No V2. They will probably not make a V2 TBH. Just buy what you like and what you can.

I received today my QC pictures but I have some concerns regarding the followig:
The color of the dial
Alignment at 11 and 12, could be just the photo
Failed test for water resistant
One of the screws at the back

Please let me know what you think.
Thank you

Actually I wonder has anyone here has their 15400 test the waterproof tests provided by the TD? In the first place, not a lot of TD provides waterproof test Foc. Second, this rep has more points (bezel screws) for water to sip in. Hence, my question. Cheers

Water won't get in through the bezel screws. The bezel has a O ring that is inside the bezel screws. The screws simply pass through the case. The case back also has an O ring that is inside the placement of the screws.

The crown tube also has an O ring as does the inside of the crown.

So, it should test any waterproof test if the gaskets/o rings have been greased properly. Thanks. Now I know one of us here did not have his 15400 pass the waterproof test. Anyone else has passed or not passed that test?

Case back probably not tight is all.
