Here you go bud. One of the nicest IWCs available IMHO. Dial is stunning in the day. Also I can confirm this is a 60min counter for the chrono if we already havent confirmed that.

the 60 min counter at 12 is a huge plus! it bugged me that the ZF version was only 30 mins.
V6F dial is more accurate than ZF also, (6 o'clock dub dial positioning)

one negative is that the caseback orientation is incorrect. the plane should be oriented vertically with the case. wonder if the factories will ever do that.

I was lucky that my 3789 lined up vertically by chance.

Is yours noisy? I find my rotor is super noisy - sounds like a 747 taking off. I'm gonna have to oil it I think.

Nah mines quite. Alot of my other PAMs and other 7750 based movements like AP/Hublot are noisier than this

I got mine too - now I have both the ZF and the V6F. There are quite a few differences. The engravings on the V6F are shallower looking, the buckle feels also lighter and of lesser quality - so are the pushers. The AR is also not as blue as the ZF. That said everything on the dial, hands, DW color-font-centering, and the dial itself are nicer with the V6F. Even the straps are different - the V6F strap has larger cut holes resembling the gen strap more.

I could imagine taking the V6F movement out of the case and just transferring it to the ZF case. So far I put on the ZF buckle on a gen strap and attached it to the V6F. As I mentioned in another post - in this setup this watch is really really difficult to visually tell from a Gen. On the other hand - since the gen is a flyback chrono - you can always test to find out.

After wearing the strap for a while its pretty comfy now. You just need to bed it in. I kept on bending it with my hands also for around 30mins when I first got it. It becomes quite ok trust me after a little wearing in.

Hi! Newbie question here. Really want this rep, but by reading this thread it appears there are two good reps both with their pro's and cons?
I can only seem to find the ZF rep when looking for the black version.
And if the look is the most important, and movement isn't my biggest issue, which rep would be the best option?

Edit: Is there even two versions? It just seems like the one in this picture:

Looks more black, where the pictures posted here seem look "greener". Might just be the lighting and editing in the photo I posted though.

The ceramic case is actually more of an anthracite color than black and this is spot on
Get the V6F version - the ZF only has the AR going for it and the dial is a no no..

Get the V6F. 60 minute counter, better dial and I reckon you will get much better QC.

I think getting to get one V6F but berore ordering I wantee to know about a possible upgrade;
IWC has a new model out IWC389002 with single date window and combined hour and minute counter. Will there be a REP of this one or won't be possible te get the combinee counter ?

strap size is 22mm on both sides - so the buckle is also 22mm wide. I would suggest to get a gen strap - if not search for miltat cordura straps those are in my opinion the next best thing after gen.
