Just enjoy the watch as it is brother. If you showed this watch to 100,000 people, maybe only 100 would know what this watch is, and maybe only 10 of them could call it out. Enjoy the $500 rep as it is, a $500 toy, not as a $7k gen.

I know you're right but now that I know about this issue, it will be the only thing I can see on the watch. Hopefully, I will be able to get a refund (haven't received QC pictures yet) and a v2 will be released later.

Sure. I bet you there will never be a v2 of this kind of watch. It's just how the game goes. Only popular models get V2s. If it bothers you that much I would try to source genuine laureus sport hands.

I feel the pain in the short second hand. I'd really like one of these, but that second hand is really putting me off.

Seems likely to me that they used the same hand as for the 40mm models and therfore comes up short on this 41mm.

I looked into genuine hands for the chono version and the second hand alone was something like $135. So a high price to pay for the extra mm or two.

That is so frustrating because the M+F and ZF versions both have the correct length but the overall quality and appearance of the V7F seems better.

Well sounds like you should buy both, make the best version, then sell the spare at a discount and chalk it uo to the cost of making a perfect rep

That's great news and particularly interesting for me, as I had my QC pictures though this week too, but don't have the correct second hand like you do.

Look like you have a good'un there, keeping good time and amplitude too and has the blue AR.

I asked the TD to check it, factory replied that that's the way V7s come now days. I asked him to source a second hand from M+F version or a full hand set if necessary. Haven't heard back yet, so your message is very timely. Thank you for sharing pics.
