I posted the following over in the IWC section yesterday, but since there hasnt been any comment, I thought I would put it out here.
IWC has announced sweeping changes and additions to the Ingenieur collection for 2013. The Ingenieur is without question my favorite IWC family, and the new watches are stunning. You can go read for yourself at IWC's website, but I thought I would highlight them here.
IWC is without question my favorite watch company. They have great aviation-inspired models. They have restrained but beautiful dress watches. The ingenieur series to me has both sport and dress elements to it, and I love the new additions for the most part.
I would add that the likelihood of any of these getting repped is pretty slim.
Ingenieur Constant-Force Tourbillion
I dont know why a constant force tourby is more accurate, but it looks pretty damn impressive. Also includes a double moon display and power reserve.
Ingy Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month
I havent seen this kind of display except a Glashutte model.
Highlights
Ingenieur Automatic Carbon Performance
This one is meh for me, but it is reppable.
Ingy Automatic AMG Black Ceramic
Meh again, but could be repped.
Highlights
Ingy Double Chrono Titanium
This has been out for a little but, but now can be had with a white dial. I think the black is sexier.
Highlights
Ingenieur Dual Time Titanium
GMT watch with an awesome gray dial. Could be repped.
Highlights
Ingenieur Chronograph Racer
Good looking chrono - seconds at 6 with min/hour totalizer at 12. Cant be repped well, but Id take a decent try. Quartz even at 6 with fixed totalizer.
Highlights
Ingenieur Chronograph Silberpfeil
Another similar chrono to the one above, with styling reminiscent of the Mercedes Silver Arrow racing car.
Highlights
Ingenieur Automatic
Its so little. 40mm ingy. Easily repped I would think.
