I posted the following over in the IWC section yesterday, but since there hasnt been any comment, I thought I would put it out here.

IWC has announced sweeping changes and additions to the Ingenieur collection for 2013. The Ingenieur is without question my favorite IWC family, and the new watches are stunning. You can go read for yourself at IWC's website, but I thought I would highlight them here.

IWC is without question my favorite watch company. They have great aviation-inspired models. They have restrained but beautiful dress watches. The ingenieur series to me has both sport and dress elements to it, and I love the new additions for the most part.

I would add that the likelihood of any of these getting repped is pretty slim.

Ingenieur Constant-Force Tourbillion

I dont know why a constant force tourby is more accurate, but it looks pretty damn impressive. Also includes a double moon display and power reserve.

  • Case made of platinum and ceramic
  • 96-hour power reserve
  • Perpetual moon phase display
  • Double moon phases for the northern and southern hemispheres
  • Countdown display showing phases until the next full moon
  • Tourbillon with integrated constant-force mechanism
Price: $290,000

Thanks!
I agree that some of those designs are pretty 'meh',too bad. Although, one or two of the color schemes are quite nice. Obviously, the 290k is very interesting looking.

Would defo take a 40mm ingy.

with its small size and simple dial its a sub for the more discreet.

Gotta love the Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month, doubt it'll be repped. Shall get one if I hit the lotto.

intention to have replica?

Hi!

Could you please tell me if you are going to have this collection (or some)?

Where can I find the store to buy? I could only find the blog!

May I ask you which ones you think may be used on work and going out at night?

Thanks for your time and attention
Yours faithfully

And this fórum called "replica-watch" is about originals?

In order to replicate something there must be an original. So knowledge of original watches is as natural as our knowledge of the replicas. This post serves to educate us in the newly released IWC watches.

Thanks for the info! I don't owe any original because they are far too expensive for my wallet!

49k for a watch - really?
