IWC Big Pilot 5009 - REP vs GEN Comparison

Have you seen this difference between gen and rep? It is nothing serious but could be easily corrected.

Beautiful watch. Maybe contender for rep of the year 2016. Do not know if this model can fit small wrist.

very very close and more over it is a closed back, definitely going to be a contender for rep of the year 2016 poll when it is out. The movement should be more reliable than the Portuguese? Or are they the same 7750? What is 23j movement btw?

There is also a secret rep vs gen comparison on this thread - yes it is not the same models but crown and case clasps etc are practically the same for the models both rep and gen..

It's such a beautiful watch. The rep is amazing too.
I had one and had to sold it because of one aspect of the watch that doesn't get the attention it deserves in the reviews if you ask me: the crown.
Not the looks of it or the function or anything, no. It's just that it keeps digging in your wrist! At least, in mine. I had to sell it because of it.
The watch was that amazing that I even tried to wear it on my right wrist but couldn't get used to it. Unfortunately, despite it being one of my fave watches, no more BP for me.

I don't have a problem with it but if you wear your straps a little loose, I'd guess it could be a problem.
Well… This is a nice surprise. I was worried about the numerals but they're fine IRL. Bolder than the 500901 but just shy of the gen. Pretty close though I reckon, apart from the upper bowl of the 8.
I think I'm gonna order the le petit prince thanks to this thread, I can feel my wallet getting lighter already.
Wow this is one of my few dream watches that I'd eventually love to have in gen. IMO the flaws are very much acceptable as a rep, apart from the deployant which is disturbing me a little.

Did the quality Changes since 1 year? ordered mine last Dezember 2015 is also an IWC ZF Best Edition
