i looked at a 232 ( 47mm) but $ 6000 - no way i can afford it.

Congrats!! It is a really beatiful watch. You got to the top of mountian now. Show it off. Right thing to do. It will be even better if you can do side by side photos with the rep in detail. Will wait for that.

ssal -- I don't have a 210 rep, sadly. Although, I might pick up DSN's 183E down the line a while (because I'd never buy another 45mm Rad gen, too similar to the 210). If I do, I will certainly do a side-by-side comparo. Thanks!

babola -- we've talked about this before and I couldn't agree with you more, the 210 and 232 are the closest to the original Panerai watches that are being made today, IMO. I wouldn't say this is the best "first PAM" for everyone, but I am certain it is the best "first PAM" for me. I just need to add a 009 or 202a PVD so I can have a PVD Base. I'm quickly becoming a Base PAM maniac.

210 is the rad i would go for instead of the Blackseal . Having an elegant classic case the dial is just right. Plain and simple without the clutter of the sec hand and the word Blackseal.

You've chosen well my friend!

And pls do SHOW-OFF MORE!!! So that you can tempt me enough to go your route!!
