my wife goes bananas with me as i cant pass a jewelers or watch shop without having a quick peek inside .... just to check theres no sale bargains ect... you know how it goes.
so i was in a small devon villiage when i spotted a tiny jewelers and popped in for a look. there amongs all the usual were about 20 automatic watches all marked down from £100 ($160) to £50. the brand was called "perpetual". they looked really nice.
so the guy comes over and tells me how he was in china, and he went to a small factory where they were making these things, by hand. he likeed the look of them and bought about 25 over for his shop. amazingly he was having trouble shifting them. he bought them to sell at £120 then reduced to £100... and now was clearing them at £50!
so i got one. it has 2 retrograde second hands. the one on the right 0-30 sec the one on the left 31-60. its great watching them zip back to the start and the next one take over. it also has an independently settable second time zone @12. it seems to be using a modified a21 movement and has been keeping great time all day.
