Lol, I've been watching it. Too bad it's not Con US, I might have risked sleeping on the couch for a month.Check my sales I have one listed.
While the Oyster is getting some much-needed TLC. I had to switch it up a bit. Looks really good on the jubilee!
I recently picked this one up and have not been able to put it down except to take some pics of the Bluesey for someone else. Figured I might as well share them here while I have some time. Hope to see some more frankens while I'm at it.
VSF Case w/ ARF/Clean Bracelet - Gen Bezel/Insert, Dial, Hands, DW, Crystal, Crown
Might as well add some of the Bluesy too while I'm at it.
The crown and datewheel and insert look good to my eyes. The crystal is cloudy and hands appear flat. I’d question the seller on that for sure as I am sure that was not cheap.Sorry my friend but that 116610 crystal does not look gen.
The crystal is definitely the weakest part of the build. I believe it to be more of a QC issue than it not being Gen, the cyclops gives a yellowish reflection or hue and the AR was obviously poorly applied. All the rep crystals give off a blue hue. Also, the LEC is not visible to my naked eye and I had to take a ton of pictures to be able to faintly capture it. The rep ones are easy to spot with the naked eye.The crown and datewheel and insert look good to my eyes. The crystal is cloudy and hands appear flat. Your information about the ability to see the LEC is 5 yrs old info. The good reps, are near invisible just as gen.The crystal is definitely the weakest part of the build. I actually did reach out to get a different crystal that I will be having swapped out hopefully sooner than later. We'll see how it goes I suppose.
You might be right, I am usually late to the party. And my stock VSF is tough also to spot with the naked eye. I didn't much like the crystal from the start. The endlink fitment and other parts was the bigger characteristic I was looking for, but the crystal is easier to deal with than the case. I will get it swapped out eventually anyway.Your information about the ability to see the LEC is 5 yrs old info. The good reps, are near invisible just as gen.
That crystal is suspect, but the watch is nice, so who cares. Enjoy it for what it is.

Classifieds here I’ve seen a few and if you search keyword Italian there’s a thread on them from mikeymike I think it was.Hi man! Nice work, i just read a couple of times from the Italien bracelet. Do you have an Adress where i can buy one?

May I ask why you went with the VS hands on a VR movement? I have a similar buy old, and only used the VS hands because I have a VS3235 in it, the VR would not take them, or I should say my CFv2 VR hands would not fit my VS movement and it’s a shame because the CFv2 hand lume is far better (and accurate to the gen dial) than the VS hands I ended up using. I’ll go gen eventually. But the VS hands are lackluster imo. Curious why you used them (unless it was a CFv1, then I understand why)
