Hi all. My item has been stuck at 'customs inspection' for 3 weeks now and Puretime aren't replying. It has never taken this long for a watch to get through customs and their website does advertise a maximum of 10 working days delivery. Especially after paying extra for faster delivery I'm quite disappointed with the service received so far and I'm wondering how much longer I should leave it before asking for a reship? Thanks all

Which customs, China customs or destination country customs?

It sometimes happens that tracking shows this status for longer period of times but doesn't necessarily mean anything. If puretime is not responding it also does not mean much, except they also do not have any additional information to communicate.

What shipping company did you use? I know there's a couple such as DHL that are notorious for causing issues with replicas and customs.

May I ask why you started a new tread on this subject? Your existing thread with lots of advice along with an offer of assistance from me is still running. As a learned logical person it makes no sense, but I would love to know your reasoning.

It sometimes happens that tracking shows this status for longer period of times but doesn't necessarily mean anything. If puretime is not responding it also does not mean much, except they also do not have any additional information to communicate.
Chinese customs. Here is a picture of the tracking in which the last tracking entry loosely translates to 'customs inspection, release time to be notified'. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you

well the odd thing is that Puretime gave me a royal mail tracking number but royal mail only run in the UK however they gave me a tracking link in which the royal mail tracking number has worked even whilst the watch is in China

because people on the other thread stopped offering advice and changed the subject to the point that they started having their own conversation. Also I really want to get Puretime's attention by posting a thread here. Is there a way to delete the old thread?

Most dealers ship in bulk by an outside shipping company. Typically in this scenario you will not see movement of your package until it's released by the secondary shipping company into the local postal service.

I see but do you have any timeline of how long delivery usually takes after the first day a watch is shipped if it's shipped via this method? Thank you

This would need to be answered by pure time, if they can get an answer from their shipping service. The shipper will not send the container until it's full, otherwise they loose money. It's also possible it might be in transit. I would have no way to know if they shipped it by air or by sea. They will typically use whatever method is most likely to safely get through customs to you.

Thank you for your reply. I have asked Puretime but oddly they have said they don't know how long it will take or even if it has been sezied for sure. They've said they will reship if they get assurance it has been seized but even after 3 weeks since the customs inspection they still don't have that reassurance

It's not odd unfortunately. It's the sad fact of dealing with logistics shipping halfway around the world, trying to skirt customs inspections in the mix. They are at the mercy of their shipping agent as far as when it'll ship and when it'll arrive. Also it's possible that the shipment could be sitting in Port waiting for customs clearance. Again this would be beyond their control.

I should also add that I think your title is inaccurate to the situation. They have not ghosted you since the definition of ghosted would be they're not responding. Also you don't know if the item is stuck or still in transit and just taking an abnormally long time to arrive. I can appreciate the frustration since it's taking longer than anticipated. This being said, you should consider editing it to something more appropriate or requesting a moderator edit it for you.

I now see the extent of this. In your other thread you even offended a member of staff. Unhappy about not being the center of attention you opened a new thread here (where people are repeating the same things again and again) and even came in the chatbox with the same question.
If instead of joining just to complain you'd use the time to read a bit you'd learn that this happens. Period. You have to just wait.

Hey OP you have been given advice and was told by a moderator that you will not receive any help from RWI so save the time and deal with the TD in private.
