I am so dissapointed..After the SL exp ii, i thought they would make a good one..End of January 2012 and still no sd super or something..I will go for a vintage i think..MBW SD or 1680 hhmmmm
Q these cg's look small in the QC pics but in the site pics they look better..Hope we see a review soon...
I bought two of them.....One from PC and one from toro. They are both the exact same watch, superlume dial, wokky rehaut. etc.
I'll post pics of the other one later.....I was going to do a side by side comparison with my SSD V2 but PBDad still has it for a re-lume.

They sent him the first edition though they have other in the site and qc pics..Send it back and request the new one...
Rehaut is off, He valve looks indently weird, but end links fitting lugs appears ok.
Here they are together, they are the same watch.
Also, PC told me by email that this WAS the newest SD with improved rehaut.....I was very suspicious because as already mentioned, it takes way more than a month to get upgrades to current models. Several members thought the pictures were of another watch because the updates came too fast..:angry:

Oh, and the crown guards are fine. They just reflect light when I try to photograph them. They are the same size/shape as the CG on the SSD. They need to be shaved a little to look correct.
I just sent one of these off to Jackjo for him to assess. He wants a "hands on" to see if there is any hope for his mod packages. For those who don't know Jackjo, he used to mod the old SSD (Rep Geek) and received high praise for his mods.

Did you receive qc pics from your recent order..Something doesn't seem right...You ordered the 'improved' one but received just the same watch...Doesn't look right from the dealer..But if he has sent you qc pics with the v1 you should ask for v2..
I was supposed to get QC pics but didn't. I received an email saying "due to the quality control process we will not be able to get your watch shipped before CNY" then 10 days later this watch showed up! I was really surprised it beat the CNY shutdown but then I opened the package and found this was the same watch I had just received the day before from Toro.....
I'm a self proclaimed "Sea Dweller freak" and took the chance that these would be better than the SSD. If they weren't as good or better then my plan was to use various parts from these to finish building 2 other SSD cases I have that are case/crystal only. It appears that the caseback, crown, dial/hands, and even crystal will fit the SSD but I will find out for sure when I get one of my 2 SSD's back from modders.
