I've been trying now for 3 weeks to get a V2S with the VR3130 but my TD Ken keeps giving me the bad news that's it's not in stock. Does anyone have any idea on when they might be back in stock?

Get it from Li / JTime and you'll have it straight away.

Seen those new member first buy threads approving QC in 2 days with JTime for the V2S. I confirmed mine on Thursday but it took something like 5-6 days as I had a little special request regarding the QC so it took a bit longer to get the right one for Li.

I can confirm that with Jtime. Order paid on 27th, get QC on 28th.

That's because that's a gen bezel and insert on V2S

Did it fit instantly?
Or did you have to mod anything?

Straight fit as it came complete with crystal retainer included. Gen bezel doesn’t fit rep retainers without modding of some kind.

Contrats bro it really looks awesome! What my bloody OCD sees only is that finish but thats an easy fix. Wear it in good health for many years to come!

The Case finishing? Yea I can see it too, the other versions were like this aswell. It seems it shows more on decent pictures in daylight than so much on your wrist. so I’m not worried. It should arrive end off next week, then I’ll meet with my friend and his Gen to have a little comparison. What I do like is the end links seem to be sitting a little lower and I’ve looked a a few of this new batch.

Is the hand Lume a little whiter than the markers?

Possibly, or it’s because the lume is thinner and hands sit higher

What's wrong with case finishing?

Had to wait a bit longer as I asked Li to pick one with nicely recessed SELs.

Received mine today.

Quick improvements from V2 after couple of hours wrist time:

- better bezel and insert (insert much nicer deeper black, better pearl and markers are almost bright like gen, bezel teeth better)
- the bezel turns and clicks much smoother and lighter than on the V2
- the dial is new the hour markers rings are noticeably larger and thicker
- the hands are upgraded (maybe same as on the V2S hulk)
- the clasp is improved (much more rounded edges and so looks a lot better)
- something else as well can't right now put my finger on it but looks and feels much more gen like

Definitely a big upgrade from the V2 although it wont seem so until you have them both side by side (from pics they look almost the same).

I was almost ready to skip this one but clad that I finally pulled the trigger.

I'm gonna keep the V2 as well for backup I think.

1) Is the dial print the same or it's improved too?
2) does the steel brushing/finishing seem improved too?

I couldn’t see your pics but I assume the dial has the same X flaw, as mine still does?
