Would you guys say the 3kf version is better than ppf? I mean if we are talking about out of the box solutions. the 3kf is also a 100 USD more. Just wondering if this is justified.
Someone made a Excel spreadsheet with a comparison of each of the models (pf, ppf, and 3kf). I would search for that, as I don’t recall the exact post it was in. It has a good breakdown of which factory has replicated that portion of the watch better (1-5 rating). But each watch has it flaws, some are more noticeable than others which leads people to gravitate to one of the factories.
For me personally, I am a supporter of the 3kf clone movement so I really wanted to get their nautilus. Unfortunately the first link on the bracelet is too big and to me it’s extremely noticeable and something a modder is not going to be able to fix. It’s all about which flaw you can live with. The PPF crown protrudes and the bezel is slightly too fat. However both of these issues on the ppf can be fixed by an experienced modder if you are willing to spend to have the work done.
