Just recently received my first rep, which is in rotation, and just ordered my second(might have unlocked a new problem haha), but I rotate my watches all week long depending on how I'm feeling, what I'm wearing, and what I'm doing. There are definitely ones I wear more than others, but the way I look at it, if it's not something I ever wear, there's no point in owning it anymore.

week/workdays is usually IWC Mark XVIII or XX rep
weekends is Tudor BB58 rep or a custom I had made from France

I must admit, I use my digital sports watch for daily use, its so much more comfortable and useful than my reps. The reps are good for special occasions though
I'm the weirdo who wears one watch on each wrist, a mechanical watch on my left and an Apple Watch on my right. One tracks time. The other tracks my life.
I think rotation is the way to go. There is something about opening a watch box to choose in a morning.
I rotate going along each shelf in my display cabinet, which hold a max of 10 watches, that way they all get worn in turn, which at current numbers is roughly 3 times per year.
During the days I'm on tools I wear a beater which is an SS Black Submariner on rubber and lives in my workshop.

I try to wear something different each day depending on what jumps out when I look at them. whether it‘s a rep or a gen or a mod rarely comes into the equation. However, sometimes purpose is important. Golf means Apple Watch to measure yardages, travel means Casio Royale SKX mod world timer, ect.
