To answer your question, I THINK the watch has to be real because I don't think there is a fake market for it.

I think it's real. I cannot see there being a high-end replica of it. That being said the price you paid looks to be about a third of what they are listed for online. Definitely not my taste but if it's yours then it looks like you may have gotten a good deal on it.

I have seen prices of around 800$ so looks like 500 might not be too much off for a gen... also fakers have some taste... i also doubt there would be a fake... tooling might be too expensive for the possible amount of sales...
