I’m by no means a Daytona expert or any expert to tell you the truth just by looking at a few pics. Some are completely obvious and then there’s some where I don’t even try. That being said there are some people that can tell just by looking at one tiny picture of the watch. I had a gen white dial and still couldn’t give you a definitive answer without holding it. I have no doubt you will get the correct answer on here though. Good luck

Odds are all to a legit piece, but before starting a negotiation wanted more opinions.
At least i can go to an official seller for a movment inspection confident it's a gen piece.

You can get a one in brand new condition for 18k, I wouldn't pay more than 12k for that(i personally wouldn't pay it at all, its polished and beat up beyond repair)

How do you see it's polished, and moreover is a polished one looks that bad?
Because what i was thinking for this piece was a polishing for case and bracelet and maybe a new bezel. The crystal is fine.
Price should be in the 7k range.
I actually have an other option, a brand new sub no date (3 month old), from a friend of mine which is regretting the purchase (9k)

You alter the original shape and the watch loose its value
This can be minimized by a good professional that knows what he is doing
