Any update?

I haven't been home until after sundown for the past couple of days, so I haven't been able to take full daylight photos. At this point, I'm leaning toward it being gen. Rolex's website describes how the bezel is created in a mold - not cut, which is consistent with the texture on the back. It's hard to capture in photos, but at high magnification there are ridges on the corona that only show up on the gen. It also catches the light differently than either my noob or clean bezel.

Why did you order it than?

There are tiny differences that I'm sure no one will notice in everyday life, but I think for myself it's an obsession with detail. There's also a lot of satisfaction that comes from sourcing the parts and assembling them - makes the watch feel more personal.

U.K.
Gen for sure. Not even the CF has that low light shine.

Sorry OP I was wrong with my first comment. Definitely not what I thought it was. Looks real.

Agree with others.
Now with your better pictures, looks gen indeed. The numbers format, and the back are nice.
I have the CF and ARF Bezels, looking carefully to your pics they are indeed different in format, numbers and finish on the back.

I went ahead and canceled the return request. Thank you to everyone who chimed in. I'm consistently impressed by this community's knowledge and willingness to help out.

My plan is to use the bezel on a franken 116519LN. I'm going to 3d scan the noob case to create a mold to cast a custom 18k white gold case. It won't have any of the engravings, but I wouldn't be the first to prefer it without the rehaut.

impressive, looking forward to the end result.

I have consulted couple of jewellers for a similar project for which I wanted to mold a viet 6263 ST case to cast one in solid gold but I wasn't able to get close enough to what I wanted... If you are in Europe, I'd love if you could share more info !
