I just went to Joshua's website.

You snooze - you loose!

Sold out.

Damn. I snoozed, too... :(

Do not worry too much, clive! The "L SWISS MADE L" issue is still unclear/unresolved, and another 104 model, by a different manufacturer, is near to appear...
Better having the time to look around! :)

I just looked at the 104 on Paneristi Refence, Contemporary Models and it amazingly shows the "L Swiss Made L" being right next to the 6 almost exactly like this new rep 104. Very very interesting...........

I seem unable to find the pic you said. Would you mind posting a link?

How would you experts rate Angus's 104 which he posted in his section?

The 104 has open "6" in the F-G-H series (2003-4-5), close "6" in the E and I series and onwards ((2002, 2006-). I suppose you did not download my PAM spreadsheet. :D

Moreover, I just got info that the latest series (J series, 2007), has the "L SWISS MADE L" text placed very close to the "6", like the new Josh's and Andrew's 104.

So it seems that this new rep is VERY close to 100%...

The problem is now in the caseback. It states:

OP 6553 - Correct on the 104.
BB1028623 - Incorrect. That is a number from 2001, when the 104 was far from seeing the light. Anything above 123xxxx would be correct.
I0512/1500 - Doubly incorrect. The "I" series does not match the location of the "L SWISS MADE L" text. And the millesimation of the 104 on the I series was 4000 pieces (like on the J series too). J0512/4000 would be correct.

Check this out bro,

Here's my buddy OJ selling a 104 "J" with an open 6 too, so not only do some "I" series have an open 6 but apparently also some "J" series.

@ rogerwine & watchace: my sincere apologies for being so late in replying. I have been long time unable to connect to RWI because the proxy that I used to connect is not working anymore and I had to figure it.

About the 104 issue, I am now completely confused. Both open and close 6, both near and far "L SWISS MADE L"... too much to me. I give up until new info will become available.
In the meanwhile, thanks all for your insights.

Hey guys. I was really trying hard to find myself an 001B but I just saw this automatic and just fell in love with it!

Since most of my research as been on the 001B I am clueless to this rep.
So is there an "ultimate" version coming out for this model any time soon for this?
